Back to School

Thursday is the first day of school for our Salida kids and to help you get ready we have a great selection of school supplies by Melissa and Doug. Stop in to pick up scissors, glue sticks, colored pencils, chalk and much much more. Thanks to everyone for the great summer! We had a lot of fun watching the kids enjoy their summer and we are very excited for the upcoming school year. Stop in and tell us all about the first day, we always enjoy a good story!

Support the Boys and Girls Club this weekend

This Saturday the 21st is the Summer Celebration for Boys & Girls Clubs of Chaffee County - A wine and beer tasting event with live music and scrumptious appetizers prepared by local restaurants. Great door prizes and a chance to see what this vital organization does for the youth of our county. Indoors and outdoors at Buena Vista Community Center, 6-9 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are requested to BGCCC for continued programming for our 500 local youth members.
